About me
Taylor Hart earned her PhD in bioscience from The Rockefeller University in 2022. As a graduate student, she pioneered genome editing and brain imaging technology in ants and made fundamental discoveries on ant brain function. She also worked extensively with RockEdu Science Outreach to facilitate scientific understanding among NYC high school students.
As a Postdoctoral Associate at Rockefeller from 2023 - 2024, she studied differences in brain function between different behavioral classes of ants. She also served as Visiting Assistant Professor at Bard College, where she designed and taught the new undergraduate course BIO318 Sensory Neurobiology.
